No-Bake Energy Bites

Quick, healthy energy bites made with oats, peanut butter, and honey. Perfect for snacking, meal prep, and kid-friendly!

Servings 20 bites

These energy bites are my secret weapon for afternoon snack attacks. Instead of reaching for chips or cookies, I grab two of these and I’m satisfied. They taste like a treat but are actually packed with good stuff!

My kids call them “power balls” and think they’re getting away with something. Little do they know they’re eating oats, flax seeds, and healthy fats!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix everything: In a medium bowl, stir together all ingredients until well combined. The mixture should be slightly sticky but hold together when pressed.
  2. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes. This makes them easier to roll.
  3. Roll into balls: Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. If the mixture is too sticky, wet your hands slightly.
  4. Store: Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.

Emma’s Tips

Customize them: Swap chocolate chips for dried cranberries, add shredded coconut, or use different nut butters. I’ve made dozens of variations and they all work!

No peanuts? Use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version that’s safe for school lunches.

Make them ahead: These are perfect for meal prep. Make a double batch and freeze half. They thaw quickly at room temperature.

Perfect pre-workout snack: Have one or two about an hour before exercising for sustained energy.

Lunchbox favorite: Pack these in your kids’ lunches instead of processed snack bars. Way cheaper and healthier!
